Enrollments & Schedules

The fastest way to enroll into classes is by registering online using our customer portal HERE.

The customer portal will provide you access to a live schedule and ability to start classes at any time. Here you will also gain access to skill tracking, make up tokens and your full ledger.

We offer a fully featured online account management system required for all families.

All students must be entered into your account and waivers signed to participate.

If you have an email set up with us already, be sure to use that email instead of making a duplicate account. You can use the "forgot password" feature or give us a call to confirm.

At FlipStar, our classes are based on a monthly tuition. We do not use a session or quarterly schedule in our programing. It is ongoing, consistent programing per class level.

If you would like to end your enrollment and stop payment, a cancellation request form must be turned in by the 25th of the month prior to next months billing cycle. Charges are placed on the first of the month.

That's up to you! Every class enrollment provides one (1) class per week for a specific day, time and class level. Our pricing per month, per enrollment is based off attending four (4) classes per month.

However, if your child(ren) would like to attend more classes per week, simply add additional enrollments per student at a 50% discount per additional class!

You can enroll at any time, as long as the class is available.

We will prorate automatically for late enrollments and can enroll up to three weeks in advance.

Absolutely! For first time enrollments into a specific class, students have the opportunity to try a new class if available.

Trials can not be scheduled online, but you must make an account with us before participating at FlipStar. You can create one HERE

Yes you can! Due to high demand for FlipStar classes, we may need to place your enrollment request into a waitlist when the class is full.

Once enrolled into the waitlist, our office will notify you via email of openings in the class. Act quickly! You will have 24 hours to claim your spot before it becomes available to the public.

All Recreational classes at FlipStar Gymnastics Academy are co-ed.

Currently, our competitive teams are girls only.

Multiple classes? Additional classes per student are 50% off!

Attending FGA

FlipStar has two facilities, one for Recreational Gymnastics and Events, the other is for our Competitive teams.

Unless you are in our Competitive program, the Recreational Campus located at 1906 Ferro Drive in New Lenox is where you will be attending:

  • Classes
  • Open Gyms
  • Birthday Parties
  • Camps
  • Clinics
  • Field Trips
  • Tighter fitting athletic clothing or a leotard.
  • No shoes or socks are allowed when on the equipment.
  • Please keep all jewelry and valuables at home.
  • Hair longer than shoulder length must be pull up and and away from the face.
  • Remember to bring a water bottle!

We stagger class start and end times so there is as much time between classes as possible. Please park in our lot or on Ferro Drive leaving the entrances to each neighboring business open. Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes prior to class to allow for a smooth transition of students and vehicles.

All Jr. Recreational Classes (Baby Gym, Parent Tot, Preschool, NINJA Preschool and Kindergym) will enter in our main entrance for classes. For all other Recreational Classes (NINJA, Tumbling, Gymnastics and Clinics) will enter at our south entrance, located at the end of the parking lot. It's the one with the big star!

Yes. While FlipStar is not accountable for lost or stolen items, we will hang onto items that are left unattended. Please contact our front desk at 815-463-5900 or stop in to take a look. Items are donated to Goodwill every other month.

Absences, Cancellations & Closures

You can drop enrollments at any time to stop tuition charges for the next month. Although we do not refund for ending your enrollment early, your child will be able to attend the rest of the current month, regardless of when the cancellation form was turned in.

Notice of closures will be given via announcement through this website, social media and email as necessary. As a general rule, for all circumstances regarding the weather, we will take into consideration the weather conditions as well as the safety of our staff and customers.
If FlipStar must close due to unsafe conditions, we will provide make-up tokens to all recreational students on the dates of cancellation.

When a student misses a class, our system will automatically generate a make up token if available.

Each student is eligible to receive one (1) make up token per month.

Note: Make-up tokens can only be redeemed if the student is actively enrolled in classes and scheduled prior to their drop date. However, any make-up tokens that the student accrued over time will not be deleted. All tokens will remain on their account until the token expires. Class cancellations or closures on the behalf of FlipStar will expire after one (1) year. All other absences will expire after sixty (60) days.

You can manage your full ledger and payment information through the customer portal after logging in HERE. We require a payment method on file to enroll into classes.

Visa, Mastercard or Discover cards. E-Check, Check or Cash are also accepted.

However, some events like open gyms, birthday parties and clinics may require the use of card payments only.

You have 30 days from the date of purchase to receive a store credit or an exchange in the exact amount spent on the item.
The item must not be washed or worn and all items like leotards must still have the tags on them.

We do not offer a pause or hold to any enrollments. FlipStar has high demand for classes and do not have the ability to hold spots without tuition payments.
