Home for the Holidays is the perfect way to ease into your competitive year, a relaxed, low-pressure environment that still draws serious competition, with large teams of high-level optionals coming out and growing year after year. It’s open to every level, giving newer athletes a welcoming first meet experience while offering your upper levels real depth to gauge early season progress.
On top of that, Home for the Holidays offers an in-ground resi landing for vault, giving upper-level athletes a confident, supportive way to open their vault season, held right inside our gym for an high energy, yet comfortable setting.
Open to all Xcel levels and Developmental levels 3 through 10, Home for the Holidays runs December 4-6, 2026 at FlipStar Gymnastics Academy’s recreational campus, 1906 Ferro Drive, New Lenox, IL 60451.
The Max McCook Athletic & Exposition Center offers convenient parking for this large event. Primary parking is available directly at the facility, with overflow parking located at the nearby Max Aquatic Center.
Event signage and staff will help direct traffic and guide guests to available parking areas throughout the weekend. Because this is a large championship event with many sessions, arriving early is strongly recommended. Families may wish to drop off athletes and equipment at the entrance before locating parking.
